Everyone hates to get that notice in the mail that they have to go to jury duty but there are ways that you can get out of it
. You will have to call each day to see if you are going to need to go in and possible serve but getting out of jury duty is your goal. It can be terrible to miss work and sit around the courthouse to see if they are going to call you to be on a jury. There are places on there that will allow you to put down an excuse and make sure you fill it out properly or they may reject it.

One of the best excuses is if you are over 70 years old because they will excuse you and you can just show id. Also you can get out of jury duty if you have children that you have to take care of. Also if you are taking care of an elderly person this can get you out of jury duty also.

If you have a business or your job requires you to be there or the company will have a hardship then this will work well to get out of jury duty. Make sure that you follow the proper steps when trying to get out of jury duty because if you do not you may be required to serve.
